Multiple Impact Shell, A Liner: EVA foam, B Liner: polyurethane sub-shell, and C Layer: EVA Foam. The final foam layer is provided in four different sizes. Each piece can be interchanged using our Velcro system to provide you a custom fit. This WRSI helmet has been introduced to combine safety and style at an affordable price for everyone. The ‘Superior Retention System’ and the multiple and removable shims helps keep the helmet in place. Fits head sizes ranging from 48 cm to 55 cm in circumference. All shims are included so one size and some adjustments will fit most. His father, Gil Turner, established the Institute of Whitewater Research & Safety as a nonprofit foundation dedicated to making whitewater recreation a safer sport. As such, the resulting helmet represents the culmination of the 4 year Whitewater Head Impact Protection Project (WWHIP) cosponsored by the Institute and Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, MD.
